Welcome...

to the website of Lisburn Youth Football Club.

Lisburn Youth Under 16 Captain and current Northern Ireland international, James Knowles (pictured here as a Lisburn Youth winner in Berlin), has recently signed a three-year contract for Premier League Club Blackburn Rovers. He has been a part of Lisburn Youth since he could first kick a ball.

One thing best describes James's talent and  potential - it happened last season at the Windmuhlen football tournament in Berlin.  On his way to winning the tournament, player of the tournament and top goal scorer, he was described by the head referee as being like a "Young Johan Cruyff!" What a tribute!

As a student at Forthill High School, James has progressed through the Lisburn Youth teams showing hard work and total dedication but with an enormous amount of natural talent.  He is a credit to the club and to all who know him - he deserves all the success we hope he'll get!

Well Done James!

We need pictures, match reports and the latest club info for our site - do your bit to make Lisburn Youth Online a success!!

Get well soon to Peter Strain, who broke his leg in Lisburn Youth's U17 match against Newmill on 8 November. From Stuart, Kyle and all players and team officials.
